During the holiday, children enjoy using our large play area and love to let off steam on the swings and slides – fun is simply guaranteed on our children’s farm in the Salzburg region. Both in summer and in winter, the village of Mühlbach provides a terrific and exciting programme for kids. The children’s free of charge programme is detailed below:
Up to the Dientalm alpine hut
Visiting an alpine hut is always great fun! Lots of animals, such rabbits, cats and goats can be petted, butter can be made and moulded, and a great deal more. The free hiking bus travels back to the petting zoo at the Dorfmühle (village mill), where even more attractions are waiting for an adventure-filled experience, such as a large natural play area with marmot burrows and rope slides.
Climbing for kids
Are you a real little climber? Proper climbing professionals will give you the best tips on technique, using which even the big rocks can be conquered. After this, it’s time to build up your strength with a delicious picnic.
Toni’s alpine play area
"Toni's alpine play area" at 1,600 m above sea level, is a real hit. From the play walking trail via spinning play equipment, tree houses, water features and much more, great variety is provided here. Hungry families can find refreshment at the rustic Karbachalm hut.
Experience farm life at Pronebengut
Our old and young guests at Kniegut already know that there is a great deal to discover on a farm. The Pronebengut farm too has a fantastic programme for you: handicrafts, feeding goats, children’s face painting, petting zoo and pony riding.
Archery & fishing
Are you ready for a day full of discovery and adventure? Then the Arthurhaus is exactly right! “Petri Heil” (good fishing!) for all anglers here, who are even permitted to take their "catch" home with them. If you would like to follow in the tracks of Robin Hood, then you will be inspired by our 3D archery course.
Further information regarding the children’s programme
Dear parents, our children’s programme is suitable for children from 6 years of age. Please register on the previous day by 17:00 hours at the latest at the local Tourist Office. In case of any questions, contact Eva or Michael – we are happy to help you.
The participation is limited to 30 children, the programme is subject to changes and the offer is reduced in the off-peak seasons.
